Hoggs Hollow lies in the Don River Valley, with the Don River flowing through the middle of the neighbourhood. Our community is bordered on all sides by ravines. One of the reasons people move to the Valley is because they love the Country in the City feel of the neighbourhood. We don’t have sidewalks. We are a community of walkers who often don’t go beyond our neighbourhood when we stroll. Most who live here have a genuine appreciation for our tree canopy. The trees overhang until they meet in the middle on many streets, creating a lush, green tunnel. Our beautiful Valley is an oasis of green in the middle of Toronto, steps from Yonge Street. Hoggs Hollow Tree Watch was started to protect this natural wonder and to ensure it is here for others to enjoy in the future.
